85 W charger with a MagSafe 1 connector for the 15 and 17 inch MacBook Pro models made between 2006 and 2012. It is a compatible charger from EIGHTT, not an Apple original, and Apple stopped supplying replacements for that range years ago.
The tip is L-shaped, which is the one fitted to Apple's 85 W adapter. It is worth checking before ordering: MagSafe 1 also exists with a T-shaped tip, and although the magnet fits in both cases, the L is the one that does not hit the edge of the laptop on these models.
It delivers 18.5 V and 4.6 A. It has protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, short circuit, overtemperature and low voltage.
If you use several different MacBooks, the universal 45, 60 and 85 W charger covers all three power levels with the same unit.
