Surveillance Hard Drives

Hard drives built to record continuously, 24 hours a day, inside the surveillance recorder.

What you'll find in this collection

• 3.5" SATA hard drives with a SATA 6 Gb/s interface, to fit inside NVR, DVR and XVR recorders.
• CCTV-specific ranges, such as Seagate SkyHawk, designed to write non-stop and handle several cameras recording at once.

How much space do you need? As a rough guide, four 4 MP cameras recording on motion detection fill around 1 TB a month. If you record continuously, reckon on three times that. And always use drives designed for video surveillance: an ordinary desktop drive isn't built to write non-stop and fails far sooner.

Still without a recorder? They're in Recorders. microSD cards for cameras and flash drives for exporting footage are in Storage.
