Y adapter with a 6.35 mm (1/4") mono male jack and two female RCA connectors. It plugs into the jack output of an instrument, a mixing desk or an amplifier and lets you connect two RCA cables.
As the jack is mono, both RCAs carry the same signal: it takes a mono output to both inputs, left and right, of RCA equipment. It does not split stereo channels; for that there is the stereo jack adapter.
