Y adapter with a 6.35 mm (1/4") stereo male jack and two 6.35 mm stereo female jacks. It duplicates the output: for example, to listen with two pairs of studio headphones from the same output of an amplifier or a mixing desk.
It is a passive splitter: both outputs receive the same signal. It does not mix two inputs into one and has no volume control. If your headphones have a mini jack, there is the 6.35 mm to two 3.5 mm mini jack adapter; for mono output to RCA, the mono jack to 2 RCA adapter.
