About Kingston | SSDs, Flash Drives and MicroSD

Kingston has been making memory since the eighties and is the brand people turn to when giving a machine a second life: swapping a mechanical disk for an SSD is by far the upgrade you notice most on a computer that has become slow.

What you'll find in this collection

  • A400 SSDs: 2.5" SATA III in 120, 240 and 480 GB. The direct replacement for the hard disk in a laptop or desktop.
  • KC600 SSD: 256 GB SATA III with hardware self-encryption, for company laptops where the data cannot end up readable if the machine is lost.
  • DataTraveler Exodia and Exodia M flash drives: USB 3.2 Gen 1 in 64, 128 and 256 GB, with a cap or a sliding casing.
  • Canvas Select Plus microSD cards: class 10 UHS-I with an SD adapter, in 64 and 512 GB, for phones, tablets and cameras.

SATA or NVMe

These SSDs are 2.5" SATA: the format that fits practically any laptop or computer from the last fifteen years. If your board has an M.2 NVMe slot you will go faster with that format, but to revive a machine still running a mechanical disk, SATA already multiplies the boot speed.

To connect it over USB you will need an external drive enclosure or adapter.
