About Anker

Anker is the reference brand in fast charging: the first to bring gallium nitride to the mass market and one of those that has pushed the USB Power Delivery standard the hardest. Its GaNPrime chargers do in a pocket-sized body what used to take two or three power supplies, and come with a 24-month manufacturer warranty.

What GaNPrime technology brings

  • Gallium nitride instead of silicon: less bulk and better heat dissipation at the same power rating.
  • PowerIQ 4.0: detects what is connected to each port and redistributes power on the fly, with no fixed splits.
  • ActiveShield 2.0: monitors temperature more than three million times a day and adjusts the output before anything goes wrong.
  • Universal 100-240 V input: they work in any country with the right plug adapter.

What you'll find in this collection:

  • Anker 735 GaNPrime 65 W: 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A. A single USB-C port delivers the full 65 W, plenty for a MacBook Air or an ultrabook alongside your phone and earbuds.
  • Anker 737 GaNPrime 120 W: 2 USB-C ports and 1 USB-A, with up to 100 W from a single USB-C. For demanding laptops such as the MacBook Pro, without giving up charging everything else at the same time.

One thing worth knowing before you buy. On both models, the middle USB-C combined with the USB-A is limited to 24 W. Always plug your laptop into the top USB-C port and you will get the full power: this is the number one reason people think their charger underperforms. Bear in mind too that 100 W is only reached with a USB-C cable certified for 5 A, and that the European version has fixed pins, not a foldable plug.

If you are missing the cable, you will find it in USB Cables and Adapters, and more power options in Chargers, Batteries and Cells. If you are unsure about connectors, we explain them in the USB connector types guide.
