Camera doorbell by Ajax: when someone rings, it sends an alert to your phone and lets you see and talk to whoever is at the door from the Ajax app, wherever you are. It is not a door entry panel with an indoor monitor: calls are answered from the phone.
The camera is 4 MP, 2688 × 1520, with a 155° horizontal and 90° vertical field of view, HDR and infrared night vision up to 6 m. The artificial intelligence tells people, vehicles and pets apart, and a PIR detector with a range of up to 4 m confirms the motion, so the alerts you receive are the ones that matter.
What sets it apart from other Wi-Fi doorbells is that it integrates into the Ajax alarm system: with a hub, it uses Jeweller and Wings as a backup channel for alarms, events and photo verifications. It is also compatible with ONVIF Profile S, so it can record to an NVR, or to the Ajax cloud.
It is powered at 12-24 V DC or 16-24 V AC, which lets you reuse the transformer of an existing doorbell; the included BellKit connects the chime. The built-in 600 mAh battery heats the unit in cold weather and keeps it running during short outages. IP54 housing, from -25 to 60 °C.
