IEEE 802.3at/af Power over Ethernet standard. The GS-5008PL features eight IEEE 802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE+) ports, each providing up to 30W of power, for a total power output of 150W. This allows it to power any device compliant with the IEEE 802.3at or 802.3af standard. With its PoE detection function, the GS-5008PL can check if the connected device is compliant with IEEE 802.3at or 802.3af. If no PoE device is detected, only network data will be transmitted over the LAN cable. The GS-5008PL can be used with various PoE products, such as access points, network cameras, or VoIP devices, and is an effective solution for network environments where power outlets are difficult to access.
