HDMI splitter that duplicates the signal from one source onto two screens at once: the same video and the same audio on two TVs, two monitors, or a monitor and a projector. It is what a shop window, a meeting room or a classroom uses, where the picture has to be seen in two places.
It takes up to 4K at 60 Hz with 18 Gbps of bandwidth, so it does not cut back the resolution or the refresh rate of a modern source, and it passes HDCP 2.2, which the protected content of the video platforms requires. It is backward compatible with lower resolutions.
The housing is flat and aluminium, acting as a heatsink, with gold-plated connectors and an LED display showing which outputs are active. It works with no drivers and runs from the 5 V power supply and Micro-USB cable included.
