Single-port 802.3af PoE injector: it adds power to a network cable to supply an access point, an IP camera or an 802.3af-compatible VoIP phone, without a socket next to the device. It delivers 48 V and up to 15 W.
The cable from the switch or router goes into the LAN port and the device connects to the PoE port. Data passes at Gigabit speed. It is powered at 100-240 V with a cable with an IEC C6 connector.
It is standard 802.3af, not 24 V passive PoE. For devices that need 30 W PoE+ there is the U-POE-AT 802.3at injector. It is the Ubiquiti U-POE-af model.
