Pair of adapters that extends a USB peripheral up to 40 m over a network cable (Cat 5, Cat 5A or Cat 6). The transmitter connects to the computer and the receiver next to the peripheral, linked by an RJ45 patch cable that is not included.
It is USB 1.1, up to 12 Mbit/s: it works for a mouse, keyboard, barcode reader or a simple printer, but not for USB flash drives, hard drives or HD webcams. It needs no external power or drivers on Windows. It is the Goobay 93321 model.
