HDMI extender over UTP cable (70m at 1080p or 40m 4K 60Hz) HDMI extender or in other words a device that allows longer HDMI cable distances without losing the HDMI signal or its quality.
The HDMI signal is transmitted through a single Category 5e or Category 6 UTP cable. Two modules are supplied, each with one female HDMI connector and two female RJ45 connectors.
UTP cable allows for the transmission and distribution of HDMI signals over longer distances, and its installation is simpler and more economical. Two modules are supplied: the transmitter and the receiver, which are interconnected using UTP cable.
Characteristics
Using a single UTP/STP LAN (CAT-5E/6) cable to replace HDMI cable achieves long-distance transmission.
The UTP/STP cable follows the IEEE-568B standard.
The transmission distance reaches up to 70 meters under the 1080P video format and up to 40 meters in 4K 60Hz.
