What sets it apart from an ordinary multi-plug adapter is that it is modular: the pieces of the Molecule range link together, and there are modules with two sockets, with three, with USB ports and with a 1.4 m cable. They can be combined to build whatever configuration is needed in each place.
Each socket is rated 16 A and 250 V, with a safety shutter that covers the contacts, and it has a built-in double switch. The total power supported is 3680 W, and that is the real limit when linking modules: it is not set by the number of pieces, but by the sum of what is plugged in.
