Dahua 5-megapixel HDCVI dome camera with active deterrence: when the PIR sensor detects a person, the camera switches on a white light and sounds a siren. Rather than just recording the incident, it interrupts it.
The PIR reaches 10 m across 110° and, being a passive infrared sensor, it barely produces false alarms from branches or shadows, the usual problem with video-based detection. At night, with no deterrence, the smart IR lights up to 30 m.
The fixed 2.8 mm F1.6 lens covers 113° horizontally. The housing is IP67 and takes −40 to 60 °C, so it goes outdoors. Mounting is Quick-to-install, and the BNC output works in CVI, AHD, TVI and CVBS, so it fits an existing recorder without changing the coaxial cabling.
