9-pin male D-SUB connector, known as DB9 (its technical name is DE-9), for soldering to the cable. It is used to build or repair RS-232 serial cables and cables for industrial equipment, CNC, PLCs or older controllers.
The contacts are copper alloy and handle 3 A each. No housing is included: to enclose the connector there is the D-SUB hood. The female version is also available.
