Bullet camera that carries two sensors in the same body: a 256 × 192 thermal one with a 7 mm lens and a 4 MP visible one with an 8 mm lens. It can show them separately or fuse the two images, which is what lets you see at the same time the recognisable shape of the scene and the heat it gives off.
The thermal detector is an uncooled VOx microbolometer with a 12 µm pixel pitch and an NETD below 50 mK. The field of view is 24° × 18° on the thermal side and 33.4° × 25° on the visible side.
On top of that it runs Dahua's analytics: fire detection and alarm, hot and cold spot tracking, person and vehicle classification, smoking and phone use detection, and tripwire and intrusion. It has audio input and output, one alarm input and one alarm output, RS485 and 2.4 GHz WiFi, in addition to the network port.
On distances it pays to be precise: the 292 metres for people and 778 for vehicles that are quoted are detection figures, that is, the distance at which the camera sees that something is moving. Recognising that it is a person is 75 metres, and identifying them, 38. The table lists all three figures. This camera does not measure temperature: that is what the -T and -TB variants are for.
