Bullet thermal camera for long-range perimeter surveillance. The sensor is an uncooled VOx microbolometer of 400 × 300 with a pixel pitch of 17 µm and an NETD of 40 mK, that is, it tells apart temperature differences of four hundredths of a degree.
The lens is a fixed 35 mm at F1.0, athermalised and needing no focusing, with a field of view of 11.1° × 8.3°. It is a narrow angle: this camera is meant to look far and in a line, not to cover an open yard.
Beyond the video, it includes fire detection and alarm, cold and hot spot tracking, people and vehicle classification and IVS analytics for line crossing and intrusion. It has audio input and output, two alarm inputs and two alarm outputs, RS485 and CVBS output. It is powered by 12 V DC, PoE or ePoE, with IP67 and 6 kV surge protection.
It is best not to confuse the distances: the 1,030 metres that are often quoted are for detection, the distance at which the camera sees that something is moving. To recognise that it is a person the figure is 265 metres, and to identify that person, 132. The table below sets out the three figures for person and for vehicle. This model does not measure temperature: that function belongs to the -T and -BM variants.
