USB-C to USB-A cable for connecting a phone, an external drive or a USB-C peripheral to the ordinary USB port of a computer, a charger or a hub. The USB-C connector is reversible: it goes in either way up, with no need to check the orientation.
Speed is up to 5 Gbps. The USB-C connector supports more, but in a cable with USB-A at the other end the slower of the two always governs, and here that is the USB-A 3.0, so 5 Gbps is the real figure.
For the same reason, charging runs over the 5 V bus of the USB-A, at up to 3 A depending on the port: this cable does not fast-charge a laptop, which needs USB-C at both ends. There are eight lengths, from 0.15 to 5 m.
