DB9 serial cable with a 9-pin D-Sub female connector at both ends and pin-to-pin wiring, 2 m long. It is the long-standing cable for talking to equipment over an RS-232 serial port: PLCs, scales, cash drawers, UPS units, phone systems, controllers and lab equipment that still use this connection.
Being female at both ends, it fits equipment with a male DB9 connector. The pin-to-pin wiring makes it a straight extension cable, not a null modem cable: if the equipment needs the lines crossed, a null modem model is required.
