This cable solves the problem for configurations where the hard drive and motherboard have a SATA connector on one side and an eSATA connector on the other. It's designed for external SATA installations and supports bidirectional serial transmission at data transfer speeds of 3.0Gb/s, or approximately 300MB/s. It complies with UL2725 26AWG standards.
This cable is shielded and has a female 7-pin SATA connector (eSATA 7-pin H) on one end and a male 7-pin SATA connector (SATA 7-pin H) on the other. For added safety, the SATA connectors have metal clips to prevent disconnection unless these clips are pressed. The cable is 2 meters long.
