The adapter that solves the most common mismatch in a Spanish aerial installation: the wall socket is IEC coaxial and the equipment you want to connect — a satellite receiver, a modem, a field meter — has an F connector.
On one side it has the familiar 9.5 mm IEC male, the one used by TV sockets; on the other, an F female thread, into which the cable's F male connector screws. It is ready with no tools and no soldering.
It works for DTT just as well as for satellite. It keeps the installation's 75 ohm impedance, which is what prevents the signal reflection and the losses caused by poorly made adapters.
If what you need is the other way round — F male towards a female coaxial socket — look for the inverse model, it is not the same adapter.
