The Shelly Pro EM-50 is a 2-channel single-phase smart energy meter for DIN rail mounting, designed for professional electrical panels. It includes two 50 A current clamps, so you can simultaneously monitor two independent circuits or compare grid consumption with the generation from your solar panels. Its big advantage is hybrid connectivity: in addition to WiFi and Bluetooth, it incorporates a LAN (Ethernet) port for stable and secure communication in metal cabinets or industrial environments. It accurately measures voltage, current, active and apparent power, energy, and power factor with 1% accuracy, and its internal dry contact relay (2 A) allows for operating an external contactor to implement load shedding or overconsumption protection. All locally, running mJS scripts without relying on the cloud.
