Characteristics

This Displayport v1.4 cable enables 8k x 4k resolutions in YUV 4:2:0 with a maximum bandwidth of 32.4 Gbps. The increased bandwidth allows for 5K (5120 x 2880) monitors using a single cable and without compression.

Multi-display support: Two 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) monitors using VESA-compatible coordinated video sync with a single cable as a video source.

Ability to support UHD monitor at 60Hz and 24-bit color (occupying 2 channels) while allocating another 2 channels for alternative data types such as USB, as per the standard supported by DockPort.

Support for visually lossless Display Stream Compression (DSC). Supports dynamic HDR and up to 32 audio channels for speakers with an audio sampling rate of up to 1536 kHz.
